I'm so bipolar with deciding on what reptile/amphibian to get!?

I can't decide on anything anymore. My mind changes on what reptile or amphibian to get. My mind has changed in the past month several times to fire belly toads, then Chinese water dragons, then bearded dragons, then milk snakes, then corn snakes, then rough green snakes. My mother is terrified of snakes but ironically I love them. I know she wouldn't be able to handle me getting a snake but outta all the animals I have interest In, the rough green snake would be the most interesting to have. I like corn snakes and milk snakes too. But like I said my mom is terrified of them. I wish I knew what to get.
